The roof is (mostly) done!

The roof is now in a state where no more water should leak in. The front still needs a soffit installed to keep snow from blowing up and into the new roof, though.

Today, I'm going to try again for that home improvement loan. My mother will cosign it; and seeing that she lives in Nowhere, New Mexico; and that it will take a week for the loan application to get to her and back, I can throw on the home as collateral (we close on the 16th, this Friday). Things look pretty good.

Roof part 2

Well, the new roof over the bathroom (area) is mostly finished...most of the flashing on the roof is tarred...there's only a few small leaks left.

If I didn't mention it, I didn't get the loan. I have no idea how I'm going to do any work on this place without a cash flow, so the bathroom will probably not get done until May. Which means we can't really move in until May 2006. Bah!
